Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old TikTok influencer from Georgia, has passed away following a courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer. Her death was announced by her family on May 24, 2025, through a heartfelt message on her TikTok page, expressing gratitude for the support and prayers she received throughout her journey.
Phelan’s journey with cancer began in the summer of 2024, just days before she was set to start her freshman year of college. She experienced symptoms such as numbness on the left side of her face and right leg, loss of balance, vision problems, and slurred speech. An MRI revealed a lesion on her brain, and a subsequent biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of glioblastoma.
Despite the devastating diagnosis, Phelan chose to share her experience openly on TikTok, amassing over 150,000 followers who were inspired by her unwavering faith and resilience. In her videos, she detailed her treatments, including radiation therapy, and candidly discussed the challenges she faced. Her transparency provided comfort and encouragement to many battling similar illnesses.
In one of her final updates on May 14, Phelan revealed that her tumor had grown into an inoperable area, making breathing difficult. Despite the grim prognosis, she remained hopeful, stating, “It would take a miracle, but I’m not giving up yet. If you keep praying for me, I think that I’ll make it.”
A GoFundMe campaign was established to support Phelan’s medical expenses, raising over $65,000. Her funeral service is scheduled for May 29 at Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County.
Phelan is survived by her parents, … her brother Harper David Phel … , and extended family members. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with her story of courage, faith, and determination.
